Happiness

When i was younger, the search for happiness was my only goal. years passed and happiness for me seemed very illusive... it was a very difficult dream to achieve, there were days when i felt i have achieved it in a form of puzzle where all the small pieces i gather and appreciate it as a whole... then suddenly i get off track and feel sadness that surpasses all the small pieces...

one day i read an article over the internet, and what made an impression in my mind was that know what makes you happy and do just that. so i changed my goal to focus on what makes me happy... it is in giving and sharing and helping that makes my mind body and soul happiest...

i've always wanted to make something meaningful each year like a feeding session with orphans or street children, make an NGO to help others, or simply give out something special to the needy during christmas. these activities are my hearts dreams and vission since i was young... though each year i try to make little plans and do little stuff like these, unexpectedly this year was a much bolder bigger steps to the realization of this dream... and finally knowing the true happiness ive been searching...

unfortunately all these came after devastating calamities hit our country, Philippines specifically the Visayas region which where i am leaving with my family. First an oil spill near our place which affected hundreds of families that depended on fishing. then came the earthquake in Bohol that affected thousands of families and the worst the super typhoon that left millions of families homeless, livelihoodless and many lost their love ones.

Thankful to have been spared from these tragedies i made the first step to reach out in any way i can to help out, and asked some friends to help out, and from there we were able to ask more friends and friends of friends to help out on our cause and were able to help as many people as we can...

our humanitarian relief operations, feeding and gift giving for a cause to the various areas affected by all the calamities we have faced change me a lot. it made me a happier person and a more fullfilled individual... the help we extended was more of the helped i needed most...

this thing that i am doing now is only the beginning of the purpose i was made by God... thank u Lord for this life...

Christmas: a season of gift giving and sharing

I've always loved Christmas season... its all about kids, gifts, food, families and thanking God of the years blessings and lessons...

Many say the Filipinos celebrate this season the longest... indeed it is the most anticipated time of the year for both young and old...

This year is an extra special christmas celebration, before the year ended earthquake and super typhoon left millions of Filipinos homeless, livelihoodless and some lost their loved ones. So we are celebrating this christmas in a whole new perspective...

Our family and friends and all that helped us make this christmas party possible we are so thankful...

Brgy Sambag, Tabogon Cebu

to the kids and everyone who joined us in this simple party thank you for filling our hearts with your smiles... it is a very unforgetable christmas for all of us...  Merry Christmas

Spaghetti Factory

We've been passing by this restaurant for quite sometime thinking it had the same menu with its sister company the dessert factory, but as it turned out it offered a lot of different sumptuous pasta meal and dessert.

One fine Sunday we went out and tasted the following:

Mango crepe... This was really huge with 2 or 3 scopes of ice cream and well picked ripe mangoes.

Monster Meat Balls Spaghetti... It was really monstrous meaty meat balls

I forgot the complete name for this dish but it had something to do with mafia style sauce

Spiral pasta in carbonara sauce

Forgive for the blurr photo but I was too excited to taste the crepe and didn't mind checking the quality of the last dish served.

Lasagna... It was very meaty but had lesser cheese than my ideal lasagna

Over all the restaurant was very nice with a delicious food... apart from having gigantic servings it is  unique from other pasta restaurants for you can choose a variety of pasta to go with the sauces you decide.. And most of all if you ask for pepper on your food they will happily serve it in a gigantic way     ( you have to experience it for your self). They are located in the 3rd floor Ayala Cebu near the active zone wing.

Death by chocolate

It is a very hot summer...
This gigantic slice of rockyroad icecream with a chocolate chip cookie is one of the best ways to cool down... Enjoyed this treat very much... Specially the chocolate cookie, served at casa cerde restaurant...

Adobong itlog

A new look for the everyday egg... Its gourmet looking yet very easily made... It is the usual egg we mix in our humba, it is hard boiled egg cooked in soy sauce and spices added with the bits of humba on top... Yumyum!!!

Maribago grill

Resto review:
Ambience was a nice native feel, most perfectly enjoyed at night with the lights...

Food well the calamares was really good, the native tinolang manok was kust average... The spareribs was huge and delicious... The fresh lumpia looked unique and was flavorful... Sizzling squid was spicy and tasty...

In general i would recommend this place coz our dining experience was great!!!

CMYK experience

Cmyk is a new dessert place we decided to check out for our search of the best sweets cebu can offer...

We tried there chocolate mousse which for me was a 7...
There chocolate crumble blend was extremely huge and delicious...
The mango crepe was also satisfying
The funnel cake i brought my sister was as she said weird... It looked weird since it wasnt plated but it smelled like a funnel cake, i guess it has not met her standards... For me well im not a fan of funnel cakes so no comment :)
There special ramen was also ok...
We will surely come back to taste the other things they have to offer... For the place it was a 9,cozy and the service was good...
